Vocabulary: Unit 1 – Spelling Test
Students will take their first spelling test of the year today in class. Mr. Garcia and class will then complete the “Shades of Meaning” – Similes on page 15 in class today.
Vocabulary: Unit 1 – OPEN Book Test
Students will be completing the Unit One Vocabulary Test today in class. They may use their workbook to help, but this assignment may not be taken home.
Lesson 4: Sodom and Gomorrah – pages 11-12. Mr. Garcia and class will read Genesis 18:16-19:29 today in class. No assignment for Tuesday.
Lesson 1-2 “Tenths and Hundredths”. Mr. Garcia and class will go over several examples today in class to practice with Tenths and Hundredths. No assignment for Tuesday.
Mr. Garcia and class will then continue with Lesson 1-3 – “Exponents and Place Value” – pages 10-11. We will complete the “Independent Practice” in class today. No assignment for Tuesday.
